Mr. Reed: I'm a fellow recording engineer. I'm a big fan of what work of yours I've heard, I'd love to meet up and pick your brain about the Seattle music and recording scenes. I'm visiting my home up here after a long absence, and I have no idea what the scene's like up here. Coffee/lunch is on me if you're interested!

Tony, if you or anyone you know are looking for another old 4 input amp, I built this beast out of spare parts and it turned out great. Would love to see it go to someone who appreciates the old tone and plays around town so I can come hear it once in a while ! price negotiable........

Epic. Every cell in your band, your instruments, your words, all of it together is an example of noise from the rock gods bestowed upon you for the benefit of listeners who are not sheep in the pen. Soul to burn is what's going on with your music. Thank you for a most welcome haunting and sickness.

Whats up guys,
I was in a band w/ Drew's cousin Hutch in Alaska called Dopiate. We played 3 shows with you in Anchorage. I now live in Federal Way and am in the band Dead Language (sadly Hutch did not move with us). I think that stylistically we would be a great fit to play some shows together. Im going to try and make it out to Hells Kitchen tonight, but you should contact me if you are interested in setting any shows up together. You guys are awesome.

Hi STONE AXE,
first of all I just want to thank you soo much for releasing SA II, for being such a great 70ties Rock Album, which really sounds like a best of the 70ties, but only with new songs!!! You did the best Thin Lizzy tribute song ever (... I know what you're talking 'bout) along with the best early Bon Scott tribute song (2nd on album). I listen to this music since about 35 years now and you managed to bring back the spirit of the good ole days so much!!! Your first album was quite good, but II is just great!! You got to keep on going and never stop - the world needs you - me and my friends, too!!
Hey, I've seen, you'll be in Europe next year ... any plans for Germany?? If yes, please make sure, to stop and play in the South (means Northern Bavaria), because me and my friends would love to see you perform live!!!!
If maybe I can do anything for you in Germany, let me know. I'll also try (just a try, not a promise) to give some infos about you to some music mags in Germany, maybe they'll manage to listen to your music and get you a positive feedback??
So, hopefully your new material is exactly the way you ended on SA II - can you say when it will be released??
Hoping to hear from you ...
All the very best to you, have a wonderfull christmas and a good start in a healthy, happy and ROCKING new year 2011!!!!
Take care and Rock on
Joachim

August 6, 2010
Hey guys!
my name is Yiannis Andriopoulos & I'm a music freak from Athens/Greece.
I have a label/mail order/record store running for quite some years in the center of Athens. I serve a small web of adventurous and devoted music maniacs, -not many left due to the economics-.
From time to time I contribute to some fanzines in Greece and UK since I've closed mine so I have concluded in a policy to buy direct from the labels/bands & try to carry a small stock from all the labels/band I respect & would love to support.
I would like to be ordering from you directly on a wholesale basis.
For a start I would like to ask you if you'd care to post:
2x Clear Vinyl w/18x24 poster & one-sided 7"(non-cd track)100 copies
2x Black Vinyl w/poster-----------------------------------150 copies
2x Black Vinyl--------------------------------------------250 copies
2x STONE AXE "Extended Play" - 10" vinyl
2x STONE AXE "Riders of the Night b/w SWLABR" - 7" Vinyl
Please give me price and postage quote plus your paypal account to pay.
Thanks for your time,
Yiannis "kaleidosmoker" Andriopoulos

Hi...
We were wondering if you would be willing/able to do a benefit show for Holly Mattson on September 29th at Neumos. All proceeds would go to her medical bills and the surviving children of her boyfriend Doug who died in the same accident. Please let me know asap so that we can confirm with Neumos. We would also need a closing band. We are also planning an event in Port Orchard if you are interested in doing that show as well. Let us know! My name is Christy Knight - and my email address is lastknightproductions@yahoo.com or you can friend me on Facebook. I am a fan on your fan page. My number is 425-830-8508.

Thanx for the great show last night at Winterland. The M&M rhythm section was tight, Dru was in full voice and Tony commanded attention. We rawked our asses off and had a great time. When I got home.......finally, I was alone. I put on my headphones and listened to the axe made of stone. The organ marched, the player played, and the drums swayed. The singer sang, the guitar rang, and I was turned to stone.
Beautiful, amazing Tony!

Listen... Can you hear it? It's the second coming of the Golden Age of Rock n' Roll. STONE AXE harkens back to the best days of the 1970's with the release of their second album, Stone Axe II. The songs on this record sound like an imported greatest hits album your cool uncle let you play when your folks were out bowling. STONE AXE adeptly put a new stamp on the warm and familiar sounds we recall from our youth.
Vocalist/Lyricist Dru Brinkerhoff and Songsmith/Guitarist/Multi-Instrumentalist Tony Reed conjure up comparisons to some of the best tandems in the ghosts of music past. Musical teams like: Lynott-Gorham, Rodgers-Kossoff, Marriott-Frampton, Connelly-Tucker. This batch of STONE AXE songs pay tribute to The Sweet, Thin Lizzy, Humble Pie, Mountain, The Who and Procol Harum. The record is highlighted by songs like Humble Pie laced ON WITH THE SHOW, Thin Lizzy influenced THOSE WERE THE GOLDEN YEARS, OLD SOUL, CHASING DRAGONS and the Sweet inspired WE KNOW IT'S STILL ROCK N' ROLL and even an instrumental, ONE MORE TIME BEFORE I DIE, that would even make Pete Townshend proud! These boys know their musical roots, show much respect and create an art in sound that is immediate and fresh.
If you miss warm analog sound of vinyl, foot stompin' and hand clappin' boogie or pulling your favorite rock shirt over head, you are going to love this band, love this record. STONE AXE II

Sorry to have missed your last show at Hell's Kitchen...too tired, Brian said it was rawkin as usual. I was pleasantly surprised last night while sitting at StoneGate waiting for a set to start to hear Our Favorite Band ... StoneAxe coming over the in house system..Got to listen to almost the whole album waiting for the boys to set up...Tony I now appreciate your timeliness and will not make fun of you anymore for your very well executed load and unload system and your 29 minute sets...these boys took forever, they are lucky I was able to stay awake! hello to Audrey..Can't wait to catch another show. Your schedule looks like it will keep you busy. Check out The StoneGate 5421 South Tacoma Way WWW.STONEGATEROCKS.COM it was a great venue even if the bands took so long to set up.
